A high-speed bit with diamond impregnated tip on a 1/8” steel shank. For use with the rotary tools and hand drills. Ideal for clean, fast removal of wall, floor and corner grout 1/8" wide. Removes both sanded and nonsanded grout. For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down. This provides plenty of shank for the collet or chuck to hold on to. For deeper grout, make several passes with progressively deeper cuts. Recommended speed is 23,000 to 27,000 rpm when removing grout, although it is best to experiment in one area to find the optimum speed for the individual application. |
