CBN cutting tools are coated with cubic boron nitride crystals. This is the "carbide" used to manufacture carbide cutting tools. CBN is an excellent abrasive choice to cut, grind, drill, and shape steel or other ferrous metals. All LeBlond cutting tools with 1/8", 1/4", and 3/8" shanks can be ordered with a CBN coating instead of diamonds. Please call or e-mail for more information and pricing.
